Sanskruti Kala Darpan Film Festival

India is the country known for its cultural, food, and people. Apart from sports and industries, India is also known for its film culture. More than 5000 films get released every year in India. There are recognized films schools in almost every city of India, giving rise to quality film technicians. Sanskrtuti Kala Darpan has always encouraged aspiring individuals. Hence Sanskrtuti Kala Darpan is beginning its 1 year of Film Festival in the year 2011. It is all set to give a platform to all those individuals and groups to exhibit their work in front of the masses. The festival will be conducted every year during 13 feb 2012 to 17 feb 2012.

Venue: Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai

Brief:

SKD film Festival will be displaying films in theatre within Mumbai for 10 days.
The films an be in any Indian language with subtitles.
Feature films should be submitted in the DVD format for selection.
25 films will be selected for screening.
Selected feature films, negative format should be provided to the SKD for screening by the respective production houses.
There will be prizes 1st , 2nd & 3rd prizes given to the Best Feature Film in the form of cash Rs. 2,00,000/-, Rs. 1,50,000/- Rs. 1,00,000/-respectively.
Along with the prize money the winners will be presented with the SKD trophy.
